DESCRIPTION
Light smooth vegetal green matcha taste with sweet nutty undertones.
This traditional Japanese blend combines grinded green tea leaves with roasted rice. Some people call Genmatcha “roasted matcha” because it contains grinded roasted grains of brown rice, some of which have popped. Think of genmatcha as a roasty green tea espresso: by consuming the leaf as a powder rather than infusing and removing, you get all the goodness contained in the leaf.
TASTING NOTES
A thick and slightly astringent green tea, this infusion yields a smooth and grassy taste which finishes with sweet roasty and nutty undertones.
